The health and financial costs of a smoking addiction makes the decision to continue one you cant really argue for in any sense except for the fact that as a smoker this is a habit that you cherish.
After I made my list I hung this list up on my bathroom mirror and also on my bedroom door. I wanted each day to see my motivation for changing my behavior this helped considerably since quitting smoking is a decision one has to establish everyday. As soon as you stop smoking you have to anticipate there will be times when you will slip but in the times past that I backslid, I just accepted failure and started smoking full steam ahead. This time if I backslid and bought a pack of cigarettes or smoked one I begged from a friend I allowed myself forgiveness for not being perfect and started right back up.
